So here it is...the barn. Well, it is actually a shed that Jake started building a year ago. He has built is from scratch. Jake got a great deal on this poplar wood from a patient of his and so he decided to make it a 12X12 shed. There was suppose to be building plans with the wood, but ended up not being any plans at all. So Jake has pretty much done the entire barn by himself making it up as he has gone along. He is so handy! He can pretty much build or make anything you ask him too, even if he has never done it before! My dad helped lay the foundation and Ben Cordray helped with the roof a few days, Jason Crossman helped build as well as redistribute mold around the yard...., and our friends Katie, Art, Erin, and Ben came over yesterday to help us paint! It is making progress. A huge undertaking that might be near completion! We have decided to no longer use it as a shed-we might actually rent it out for someone to live in! I will post more pictures as we finish it! Oh, does anyone have any suggestions for the color of the trim?
